Founded in 2018<\/strong>, Passage To Purpose, Inc. began with a commitment to improving the quality of life for people living in underserved communities. Our original work focused on supportive services, awareness, counseling, financial assistance, affordable housing, and social welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As the organization developed, our mission continued to evolve. We explored community outreach, economic empowerment, homeownership, small-business services, financial literacy, education, and job training. During this period, the organization also underwent several leadership and organizational changes and operated for a time under the name Focus On The Future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2025<\/strong>, we returned to our original name, Passage To Purpose, Inc.<\/strong>, while formally expanding our organizational purpose to include education, job training, financial literacy, basic needs, and social and human services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, Passage To Purpose is entering a new chapter with a focused mission:<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are a youth organization specializing in workforce development and job training.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Our work is centered on helping young people develop the knowledge, skills, experience, and confidence necessary to successfully enter the workforce and pursue sustainable careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Through career readiness, job training, work-based learning, employment opportunities, financial literacy, and workforce partnerships<\/strong>, we are creating pathways for young people to move from education to employment and from employment toward long-term economic independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n 2018 \u2014 Founded as Passage To Purpose<\/strong> 2019\u20132020 \u2014 Growth & Organizational Development<\/strong> 2020\u20132025 \u2014 Focus On The Future<\/strong> 2025 \u2014 Return to Passage To Purpose<\/strong> 2026 \u2014 Youth Workforce Development<\/strong> Our history has taught us that sustainable change requires more than providing assistance\u2014it requires opportunity, skills, experience, and a pathway forward<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That is why our future is focused on youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We want every young person we serve to have the opportunity to discover their potential, develop real-world skills, gain meaningful work experience, and build a pathway toward a career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our history is the foundation. The organization operated under the Focus On The Future name while expanding its stated purpose to include community outreach, basic needs, homeownership, small-business services, and economic opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The organization returned to the Passage To Purpose name and formally incorporated education and job training<\/strong> into its organizational purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Passage To Purpose is now focused on preparing young people for the workforce through job training, career readiness, work experience, and workforce development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
